Where to buy achar online in Nepal
By Ranjana Achar Udhyog
If you want real, homemade achar without asking around for a cousin who makes it, buying online is now the easiest option. Here is how it works and what to look for.
Order direct from the maker
The freshest achar usually comes straight from the kitchen that made it. At Ranjana Didi Ko Achar, every jar is made by hand in small batches in Sindhuli. Because we make achar in batches, the colour and heat can vary a little from jar to jar. That is the sign of real, handmade food.
How ordering works
- Add the jars you want to your cart.
- Check out with your name, phone number, and delivery address.
- We call you to confirm your order, the address, and the delivery charge.
- You pay cash on delivery when the jars reach your door.
No advance payment is needed, and a real person confirms every order.
Delivery across Nepal
We deliver across Nepal through local couriers. Kathmandu and major cities are quick; remote areas can take longer. The delivery charge depends on your location and order size and is always confirmed on the call before dispatch. See the Shipping & Delivery Policy for details.
How to choose a good achar
- Look for an oil-based pickle with a visible oil layer on top.
- Check the ingredients: mustard oil, spices, salt, and real fruit or vegetables, not additives.
- Prefer small-batch makers, where the jars are filled by hand.
- Read the storage advice so your jar lasts.
